Jay-Z Takes The Crown As Hip Hop King Jay-Z Reigns on Top of The Game Who could argue with Jay-Z's track record? Everything he touched practically goes double platinum, he has a sick flow, ill metaphors, evokes a ton of emotion, and he tells stories that hit you in the heart. Jay-Z is the man who is torn between trying to build power for his family friends and his dynasty. His need to inspire the disgruntled outcast to make moves and get in the game. Jay-Z is the type of dude who may step over you to make it, but once he's there he'll offer a hand. Jay-Z is now in his tenth year of running things both on video, radio, movies, and the fashion world. Jay-Z says it is time to retire and go out on top like Mike Jordan did in his Bulls uniform (not the booty Wizards outfit). Jay-Z is ending his reign as king with a Jay-Z Fade To Black Tour. In theaters right now you can also watch Jay-Z's new documenatary also titled Fade To Black. This Documentary is a great piece of hip hop history caught on film. Jay-Z fans will go crazy to see the jigga man in his full creative mode. Jay-Z then takes things to a whole other level when he puts a show on MTV called Mash Up Linkin Park VS. Jay-Z. Here Jay combines his lyrics and Linkin Parks Lyrics with some of his beats and some of their beats. I watched it and if you like the rap rock mix you will love this shit. Scam personally loves Linkin Park and Jay-Z. I'm a fan of good music not just Hip Hop or R&B. These guys make great music. The last thing a King needs is a Queen. This man Jay-Z has Beyonce. She is a Queen in every sense of the word. From one king to another no one has done it better and Jay-Z gets to retire on top as the current King of Hip Hop. Big up Brooklyn! I think they're pretty much neck and neck, but at this point, I would give the edge to Jay-Z

Uh, no. LOL!!!
Eminem has sold almost 35 million more albums than Jay-Z.
Obviously Jay-Z has more money because he is a BUSINESS MAN. Eminem doesn't own clubs and parts of sports teams and work as the head of a label among other business ventures.
Jay-Z has more #1 albums but obviously that doesn't count since Eminem hasn't released as many as him but all of his studio albums since his first have gone #1.
Anyways, Eminem is bigger obviously. LW just trying to cause problems

5. Eminem, Recovery, 33,000. The former #1 album drops from #2 to #5 in its 29th week. This is its 23rd week in the top 10. Four songs from the album are listed on Hot Digital Songs, topped by "No Love," which dips from #40 to #41.

Why do people always re-relase albums now? He didn't re-release. It was just a rumor, never happened. There are no plans for it.

Eminem sets record by selling 1 million digital albums !![/size] Eminem has become the first artist to sell one million digital copies of an album in the United States with his 2010 release Recovery. With his collaboration Hell: The Sequel with Royce Da 5’9 hitting the top of the charts in its first week, Em also became the first artist in five years to have two No. 1 albums within a 12-month period. “Recovery selling one million digital albums is an incredible achievement by an incredible artist,” said Interscope Records’ Vice Chairman Steve Berman in a statement. “I have had the pleasure of working with Eminem throughout the course of his career, and I’m delighted to be a part of yet another milestone on his amazing journey.” “We are thrilled to congratulate Eminem on the history-making digital sales success of Recovery,” added Em’s manager Paul Rosenberg. “Over the years we've made a concerted effort to engage Em's online fan base so this achievement is especially rewarding. Eminem made an amazing album with Recovery and the fans responded in record numbers." Source

I wonder which artist from 5 years ago had two chart-topping albums in a 12 month period.
