I've really been getting into this one lately. Good to see it's getting some much-deserved pop success.

Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum is one of the most talented male vocalists I have ever heard. And Hilary Scott is also a phenomenal vocalist. They are absolutely amazing in concert! And I am going to see them in MAY!

Have any other songs gone top 10 on CHR that were country since 2000?
Lonestar - Amazed #6 - March 2000 Nelly & Tim McGraw - Over And Over #1 - November 2004 Carrie Underwood - Before He Cheats #9 - May 2007 Taylor Swift songs...
sugarland hasn't, tim mcgraw hasn't (solo), no shania twain, no sugarland, no ZBB, no keith, no chesney, etc.

Will the recurrent play from Country help it on the Hot 100?

Yep, it counts. It's #2 on The Hot 100 now. Break My Heart kind of came out of nowhere to be #1 So that means basically Need You Now should have been #1 But I think it'll feel kind of weird if this goes #1 and You Belong To Me couldn't

But I think it'll feel kind of weird if this goes #1 and You Belong To Me couldn't With the top spot (really any position), it's all about timing. Honestly, I would rather Love Story had gone #1 (but the song's country and pop airplay didn't peak together, which hindered it). We're talking about a colossal, 4.5 million digital seller, multi-format #1 hit. Congrats to LA! They are taking the remixing revolution to its maximum potential and getting one hell of a hit! Take notes country artists, take notes.

Yeah, I know. It just would have been nice for YBTM to be the cherry on top of Taylor's great year And I definitely agree on remixing songs. Removing a fiddle here or there is not the end of the world LOL
And I think this is the closest between Top 10 Hot 100 Country hits in years right? We haven't had this many in a row in awhile. (And I mean like real hits not just the ones that go Top 10 for a week)
