She can come back to the house in Lake Geneva and party with us. I'll get my uncle to let me borrow his Quattrope

well it's because she has frickin' Craig Morgan as her tour mate and Sons of Silvia who are great, but they don't even have a single out yet so no one knows them. Now if she replaced Craig Morgan with someone like Eric Church and replaced SoS with Love and Theft... now THAT would be a concert I would buy a ticket to in a heartbeat.

I think we talked about this before, but you wouldn't buy a ticket based on an opener?
I don't really care for Zac Brown Band, but I am not skipping DMB just because ZBB is opening. and I think you said you've seen Carrie before so it wasn't a big deal, but I've seen DMB 4 times already and I am still going lol

I'm just saying, if you aren't a die hard Carrie fan but like her a lot but don't like Craig Morgan and have never heard of Sons of Silvia then you probably wouldnt go to a show.
but if you like (for examples) Eric Church and Love and Theft a lot too, you would be more likely to go to Carrie's concert.

Why do openers matter though? I know a lot of people who don't even show up until after they are done anyways. Whoever is opening should not decide if you go to a show or not, at least that is how I feel.

Why do openers matter though? I know a lot of people who don't even show up until after they are done anyways. Whoever is opening should not decide if you go to a show or not, at least that is how I feel. the reason why is what i stated in the post above yours. If someone asked me if I wanted to go to a Black Eyed Peas concert, I would be like "yeah that would be cool" but if the opening acts for BEP were Owl City and Ke$ha I would be much more excited about going. Because instead of one act that I like, but don't love, I get 3 acts that i like a lot. Bottom line is: no one likes Craig Morgan, no one knows Sons of Silvia and that is definitely having SOME affect on the below expected ticket sales.

Um Billy Currington and Sons of Silvia are.
Me: super pissed.
should help a little with ticket sales since Curington is huge right now. He, like Craig Morgan, has great older music but fell off the boat with the last album.

I thought she looked like a slut in the beginning of the show. I really can't stand her face either. She should not have won, although when she went up to accept her (undeserving) award, I heard "Undo It", and I like it
