I think it's cool that you mention two of my favorite Metallica songs as their good ones. Have you ever heard songs like "Battery" and "Blackened," by any chance? I think those are some of their best. "Battery" is alright, I've probably heard "Blackened" too and just don't remember it.

I wasn't a huge fan of hers but it's still very sad. R.I.P.

I like it, it kinda has a pop/rock sound reminiscent of her first album.

I was thinking about this and I was wondering if there were any artists you used to hate or not thought much of at first but then you eventually grew to love/like them? I have a few and some of them have actually become core artists of mine. Tori AmosI was first introduced to her in late 2002 when I saw the video for "A Sorta Fairytale" on VH1 and it creeped me out, so I didn't really like her that much. Then two years later XFER sent me a bunch of songs of hers and she grew to become one of my all-time favorite artists, and The Beekeeper was my favorite album of 2005. NirvanaI was also introduced to them in late 2002 through VH1, with "You Know You're Right". I was not a rock person at all back then and Kurt Cobain's screaming in the song was a huge turn off for me so I labeled them as crap until a few years later when I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Heart-Shaped Box", and "Lithium", and then later was sent the entire Nevermind album through a member of another forum and I LOVED it. Now they're one of my favorite bands. PanteraI didn't like these guys at first because I thought singer Phil Anselmo's voice was very annoying, until I heard the AMAZING "This Love", and then I began to appreciate their other songs more. They're not one of my absolute favorite bands but I do like them a lot. Type O NegativeIn 2008, around the time I started getting into metal, I was introduced to these guys and I was very turned off by them because of how long their songs were (which is quite hypocritical seeing as I loved Rush from day one but meh ), but then I saw the video for "Black No. 1" on VH1 Classic one day and I thought it was badass, and shortly after that I saw "Christian Woman" which I loved even more and eventually they became another one of my favorite bands. EminemI couldn't stand him in 2000 because of what he said about Britney and Christina in "The Real Slim Shady". But in recent years I have grown to appreciate his earlier material more (by that I mean pre- Encore). The only songs of his from 2004-now that I like are "Love The Way You Lie" and "I Need A Doctor". Twisted SisterIn the summer of 2006 I heard "We're Not Gonna Take It" for the first time on American Top 40 Flashback and I HATED it (and still do). I even called them Twisted Crap. Then I heard "I Wanna Rock", "Under The Blade", "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll", etc., and grew to like them. WNGTI isn't their only bad song though - "Hot Love" from 1987 blows too. Pussycat DollsI couldn't stand "Don't Cha" back in 2005, and I still can't stand it. But back in 2005 I kind of labeled them as talentless sluts for that song, and for the fact that "Stickwitu" stopped Oasis's "Let There Be Love" from going to #1 in the U.K. But they do have some good songs like "Beep", "I Don't Need A Man", and "I Hate This Part", and Nicole S. is not a bad singer at all. AdeleWhen "Chasing Pavements" came out in 2008, I didn't like it at all, and I labeled her off as more British indie crap. Then "Rolling In The Deep" came out which I liked at first but eventually grew to LOVE it. I also like "Rumor Has It" and "Someone Like You" and love "Set Fire To The Rain", and I'm starting to consider checking out her entire 21 album. Maroon 5I didn't really like "Harder To Breathe" when it came out (I think it's okay now though), but I have been a fan of everything they have released after that. "This Love" is probably always going to be my favorite from them though. RihannaMusic Of The Sun = hated her. A Girl Like Me = she was okay. Good Girl Gone Bad = loved her. Rated R = loved "Russian Roulette", but everything else was just good. Loud = hated her more than ever. MetallicaThese guys are so/so to me. Some songs of theirs are good ("One", "Until It Sleeps"), some are meh ("Seek And Destroy", "Turn The Page"), some are just f**king ridiculous ("St. Anger"). But I don't dislike them as much as I used to, since they do have some really good songs. I still think Lars Ulrich is a crybaby though.

LMAO at Katy Scary. I also think HIAM should've gotten nominated over TTWE. Honestly though I don't understand why everyone's surprised. The VMA noms always suck to me! On a side note though, Adele looks f**king hot in that photo and it is going to become my avatar within the next few minutes.
