Agreed, TTWE could still smash for another 4-5 weeks.

She seems pretty happy to me. Haven't you seen her eyes? Sure she may be happy when with her kids but she's been stripped of all autonomy. I can't think of many things more degrading. She looks broken. Made me remember this post I read on a website a few weeks ago, which I thought was really OTM: Just a thought. Anyway: "I Wanna Go". It doesn't do much for me but it should be quite big.

I don't think this is going to do as well as TTWE...unless a remix is released...even then. I see this peaking between 10 and 5 on pop, an IYSA type run.

She seems pretty happy to me. Made me remember this post I read on a website a few weeks ago, which I thought was really OTM: . You also need to remember that even though she was "finding herself", she had legal responsibilities that she chose to ignore. Whether she was mentally sane or not... The only way she could be trusted again and get her kids back was to give up some of her rights, because she proved that she could not control herself. If her father had not intervened, who knows where'd she be now. I think performing is strictly a job for her, now. Back in the day, I think she was very much into the self-expression and art aspect of her music...but now, it's a 9 to 5 deal for her. She has no other choice but to do it, if she wants to maintain her lifestyle. So, she makes best with what she has and goes with it...fighting back tears, so to speak, if need be.

There's a poll on one of Britney's websites asking what should be the 3rd single. So far, I Wanna Go has 49% of the votes, followed by Inside Out with 14% and Criminal with 11% link

I think if How I Roll was on that list, it would get alot of votes, aswell. Suprised BFB isn't one of the choices. Maybe they're planning to release it in the future but don't want to publically show the public's major dislike for it

I go back and forth with BFB but it shouldn't be a single until like 5th single or something.
And I see people saying how they don't think IWG is gonna do that well.. people said the same thing about TTWE so..

I guess it's up in the air, because each of her era's are unique in terms of radio performance. With TTWE's success, it was partially due to the remix that was released. I don't see this song doing amazingly well by itself. BFB would probubly do the best with Will I Am's name already attatched to it.

I like this song and think it will do alright...nothing disastrous but nothing special either. I can see it performing similarly to If u seek Amy.

TTWE's success (in terms of radio) had basically no effect from the remix imo. It helped it out digitally but the song was still gaining rapidly before the remix came in and I don't think the remix actually got played that much on the radio. If a Britney song is hot enough and accessible enough, it will get played. HIAM was good but just didn't click with people.

I don't think that was the problem with HIAM at all. The major problem with Hold was that it gained too fast and got to a point where it simply couldn't sustain itself with those massive gains. Radio was playing 'Hold' like it was the last song they would ever receive prior to Born This Way being released. It never had any down time. It was constantly gaining like a behemoth every week. There was no slow down. That eventually caught up with the song. I think it just got to an over saturation point where radios just had to stop increasing it so ridiculously and it was unfortunate that Born came out just as that point was happening. Had Born not been released so early it likely would have stabilized itself and picked back up again.
All songs need to have their slow down periods that is just the way radio works. TTWE had it's slow down period right before it hit the top 10 on CHR and now look where it is now? #4 on the Airplay chart and #3 on Pop. Radio needed a break to let the song breath. Hold It Against Me didn't have that until way too late in it's chart run.
Once Born This Way hit and HIAM stopped gaining Jive decided to cut their loses and move on to the next single. Which was a wise decision since even if HIAM did start gaining again it likely wouldn't have been able to compete with BTW, Tonight, Forget You and Perfect which were all on high rotation at the same time HIAM was put on the shelf. The song got lost in the shuffle basically and it didn't help that Britney was MIA during this rather crucial time period in HIAM's chart run.

How I Roll is on there. It has 4% of the votes. OH It's not that people don't like it, is just that her fans are smart and really want the third single to be I wanna go which is the best choice. I can see how I roll or criminal as the fourth single.

Big Fat Bass will likely be next after I Wanna Go. No way they are wasting a Will I Am hit.

Big Fat Bass will likely be next after I Wanna Go. No way they are wasting a Will I Am hit. Well, what other big hits has will.i.am produced for other artists besides "OMG" and "American Boy"? (which was really his song anyway). So realistically "OMG" is the only big song he's ever produced that wasn't for Fergie or The Black Eyed Peas. So If history is any indication, "Big Fat Bass" might not break the chain of the past.
