Thank God it's finally #1. Now it can begin its quick descent and we can move onto something worth listening to (hopefully not that mediocre Undo It)! SLT ftmfw.

I swear, if they release the horribly mediocre Undo It instead of Songs Like This or Quitter I'll shoot somebody. It's bad enough I had to endure that awful/schmaltzy/boring as hell Temporary Home being a single.
Perfect era:
01. Cowboy Casanova 02. Someday When I Stop Loving You 03. Songs Like This 04. This Time/What Can I Say 05. Quitter

I am 90% sure "Undo It" will be the next single. XM/Sirius has played it a few times in the last few weeks. I'm not too happy about that choice. Its a catchy song, but the lyrics aren't as good as they could be, imo. I feel the same way about "Songs Like This", although the song is much more clever than UI. I would actually prefer neither to be released now. Since Carrie likes to release more ballads than uptempos, release "Quitter" 3rd, "Someday When I Stop Loving You" 4th, and "What Can I Say" 5th to end the era. But if they go to a 6th single, "Songs Like This" would be my choice, although I think "Undo It" would do better at crossover success (if they ever decide to actually push another single of hers again ) and on country. So I think the order will be: 3: Undo It 4: Someday When I Stop Loving You/Change 5: Quitter 6: What Can I Say/Change But I swear I'll be pissed if "Change" is a single. It's by far the worst on the album.

Thank god this has reached the top however I am so pissed at Undo it being released. Now Im wanting this era to have 7 singles. They MUST release Quitter, SWISLY, SLT, & WCIS. Zach they can release Change for Idol gives back or some'in. I like it too, kinda reminds me of So Small

9:15: Uh oh, Matthew McConaughey is back at the ACMs and he’s carrying a pair of black boots. He’s telling Carrie Underwood “I brought those boots,” and she’s grinningly taking the stage to receive them. If you’ll remember, last year McConaughey presented the entertainer of the year prize, but before he did, he told a story about how he got lucky by telling girls at a bar that he was George Strait’s personal bootmaker and inviting him back to his hotel room to see George’s boots. After she won entertainer, Carrie joked in her speech, “Matthew, I’d like to see those boots.” She took them with a gleam in her eye as sassy as her short white dress.
lol i get it now

she sounded great but something was... off about the performance. it was boring though yeah. I don't even think she sounded that good to be honest. It was an extremely weak performance and the whole show was boring and weak anyways

there is a slim chance that carrie will be able to cross over to pop format.what a waste.i hope she dont have the same kind of message in the lyrics in next album.

She and or her people blow my mind on how she/they is/are so adamant against pop, as if the market is disease or something. And then she releases the world's most pop country song (Cowboy Casanova) and they don't do anything with it

Many country people get offended when artists crossover. I talked about this before. there was a huge cover story spread about it in a recent BIllboard magainze this year

Yeah, I was upset about them not even giving "Cowboy Casanova" a push on Pop. I doubt "Undo It" will either. I don't understand why they don't push her at CHR. She could have some more decent hits with a lot of her songs.
