I was wondering what everyone thought. "Stripped" is considering Christina's "EPIC" album by many, and has many awesome songs (Fighter, Dirrty, Beautiful - though everyone has their own). Do you think it should be considered [overall] one of the best pop albums of this decade?

This could actually spark a debate on what the Best Pop albums are of the 2000's, since its almost a close for this decade. I think "Stripped" is definitely up there. If only Christina could produce something as good as that again :/

Oh, definitely.
This album really did strike a chord with me when released, and even today it's held up well. I'd say it's definitely one of the best pop albums of the 00's, hands down.

"Stripped," like all things Aguilera, is unessential.

I definitely disagree with this. There were 3 or 4 good songs on Stripped IMO. I liked her debut a whole lot more. There were 6 or 7 good songs on her debut. But as for best female pop albums this decade...
I agree with "Breakaway" and "Let Go" and "M!ssunderstood". Also, both of Colbie Caillat's albums are phenomenal. Demi Lovato's new album is great too.

Christina's debut was pretty good. Though the standouts were the singles - Genie, Come on Over, What a Girl Wants, I Turn to You, Reflection. The rest was meh. Stripped though is amazing, but i guess its not for everyone. I just can't believe that she followed it up with that mess that was Back to Flopping.
and I think we can all agree with M!zzundaztood, Let Go, and Breakaway

"Stripped," like all things Aguilera, is unessential. This is an interesting statement. Elaborate? Just because I think Christina can be underrated and overrated. And she can be good and bad. Like Back to Basics is an awful album (IMO), and is totally unessential, but songs from her first two albums are classics to me.

Like Back to Basics is an awful album (IMO), and is totally unessential, but songs from her first two albums are classics to me. I'm not a fan of her work. A few of her songs are good (most of which are on "Stripped) but nothing I need to survive.
