I feel like last year-ish I was all for Katy Perry while everyone was riding GaGa's dick. Now everyone I know who hated her loves her I feel like this album is going to be Animal Part 2 in terms of sound, all stylish pop dance tunes and I'm not going to get any heart and soul like her debut had I remember that. You were all stanning for TOY and WUIV like nobodys business and everyone thought she was one hit wonder. But now that has a dance song, suddenly everyone loves her

I heard TIO in my work for the first time since it was popular. I must say, I enjoyed it...as opposed to me flipping the station when it came on when it first came out.

Prognosticators are divided on whether Perry’s album will surpass Eminem’s Recovery, which bowed at 754k, to become the year’s biggest debut. Doubters feel the release date is problematic in the sense that it falls at a time when Americans are traditionally preoccupied with end-of-summer and back-to-school activities, with mass entertainment far down their priority lists… Not surprisingly, Perry’s current contract is being renegotiated, with respected attorney Jay Cooper in the process of doing a mega-deal for her…What? I don't think she's going to anywhere close to 754 K

What? She won't even get 500k.

I think sadly she's only going to do 175k, 210K max.

So I must be getting really interested in this project, since I hunted down the clips I'm a bit underwhelmed. For the new songs... Last Friday Night - Meh. Sounds like generic Dr Luke pop/rock Firework - Wasn't she saying she was hoping this song would be like an artistic breakthrough or something? I don't hear it. But I find the string arrangement interesting. I need to hear more to really assess the true integrity of this arrangement Peacock - I liked the live preview. But I guess I'm missing the lack of live bass added to the LQ from that Circle The Drain - The chords kind of moved in a dark unexpected way, but I wasn't a big fan overall. The One That Got Away - Could be promising, but left me indifferent E.T. - Reminds me of that Identified song from Vanessa Hudgens. But this sounds like it will be the next single. The best preview Who Am I Living For - Sounds like the Tricky songs on Bionic... Hummingbird Heartbeat - I'm actually finding this interesting because its Tricky producing a pop rock song I know he produced Smash Into You but that was more of acoustic pop rock. And it's not just the production. The melody seems to be approached differently. There's a part that sounds like Jesus of Suburbia too melodically. And you can't go wrong with that Pearl - This sounds like something I might like if I followed lyrics closely... Not Like The Movies - Meh. This song is almost a living cliche, an obligatory ballad -------- So I think overall I'm looking forward most to Peacock, E.T, and Hummingbird Heartbeat

That proves your lack of sources ever existed because they are on iTunes, Amazon and....YOUTUBE

Those aren't "sources", and even LW told me he had to search all over to find something on YouTube since they were all taken down.

They didn't "leak", they were officially released

Oh really? Well that's the problem with today's technology. In the past they could have gotten away with it. But probably everyone at the show tweeted and blogged and leaked info. So they probably thought why not just release things officially?

Yeah, that is pretty much it. After the show finished taping, FOX released the full list. Nowadays with Twitter, you can't keep secrets at Award shows. And why on earth are they still pre-taping Teen choice?

They have tape delay If they can air MTV Movie and Video Music Awards among other things live, Teen Choice is fine.
